Artist profile:

Born in Blora, Central Java in 1967, Rudy Mardijanto graduated from the Art Academy ISI Yogyakarta, and has participated in a variety of exhibitions in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Solo, Malang, Surabaya and Bali since 1985. He received an award from ISI Yogyakarta in 1987, and was a finalist in the Phillip Morris Indonesian Art Award in 2001. He has held solo exhibitions in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
